Quarantine Chronicles Day 26 (QD26)

The test results from this morning haven’t come back yet.

Which is odd because they have always back somewhere between 8:30-10p...

Is currently 11:18pm Beijing time.

I’ve been waiting all day for them to come back but nothing so far.

*deep sigh*

Yet I remain hopeful that this will be the last time that I am ever in this hospital - or any other this year - again, let alone look at it.

From the hard beds that have caused intense back pain since the second day I was here weeks ago...

The smell of sewage and stagnant water oozing from the bathroom...

The kind 阿姨 that would come by and clean...

Sending messages to the nurses’ stations and asking them so many questions to the point where they text back, “wait” ?...

To the trail of tears that I’ve left all over the flat pillows...

I will never forget this place. It is etched deep in my mind and I will never forget the look, feel nor smell of it.

So we wait.
