Quarantine Chronicles Day 33 (QD33) – First full day at hotel & today’s test results

Here is today’s play-by-play:

5:55a - Start steaming routine

Last night’s sleep was extremely poor because I was so concerned about this morning’s test. If you recall, the last time I was here and took the test, later that evening I was taken back to the hospital because of the positive test result.

I was already awake when the alarm went off because I simply couldn’t sleep. Not to mention, the room was extremely cold because the window is broken and all the cold night air was rushing in.

Steam...done.

7:15a - NAT test - no oral swab today

The guy was a bit rough with the long Q-tip but I’ve done this so many times now that I’m a pro. It stung a bit but I didn’t resist.

7:42a - breakfast delivered (saved for lunch)

10:11a - Laundry in the tub! ?

Well this was a first!

And it was pretty interesting to do, friend! Now I can wear something other than my Soweto dress. ♥️

11:03a - Exercise Time

Broke out the good ‘ol walk away the pounds and Billy Blanks Tae-bo today! ??

Also, during the workout, one of the hazmats came to fix the broken window.

12:06p - Lunch time

After lunch, I showered and washed my hair, then went to relax.

Sometime after 1p - temperature ? fairy ??‍♀️

7:58p - Test Results

Test results are back: NEGATIVE! I get to stay in the hotel and I won't be tested again until Day 13. ??

Unfortunately, Ada's test came back positive again and she has to go back to the hospital. ?

I told her that I would continue to pray for her and send positive energy her way. ??

Now I can get a good night’s rest without having to worry about taking a test in the morning.

Off to sleep I go, friend.

‘Til tomorrow...
