Hey there, fellow globetrotters! Today, I'm here to share with you my personal review of a recent stay at the renowned Hilton H Hotel LAX.

Now, I know what you might be thinking – staying at an airport hotel during these unprecedented times?

Well, let me tell you, my experience was beyond expectations. 

Read on to learn more about the ins and outs of the Hilton H Hotel LAX during COVID – a luxurious layover that is sure to captivate even the most seasoned travelers among us.

The Purpose of My Trip

As travel restrictions eased and the possibility of returning to China finally became a reality for me, I found myself eagerly booking two nights at this conveniently located haven before embarking on my long-awaited journey.

My recent stay at the Hilton H Hotel LAX was an absolute delight. From the time I arrived til when it was time for me to catch my flight, I felt like I was treated with respect and was genuinely welcomed to be there. The staff treated me with the utmost warmth and went above and beyond to make my stay phenomenal. 

The Location

Hilton H Hotel LAX is nestled in a safe and strategic spot, just a hop, skip, and a jump away from all the best that Los Angeles has to offer. 

Whether you're in town for business or leisure, you won't be left twiddling your thumbs (I mean, unless you want to). 

During my stay, I walked to a nearby cafe, the Coffee Company, to meet up with a mentor-figure who had relocated from North Carolina to California. As I walked to the cafe, I really appreciated how easy it was to get around without a taxi and noticed how much the area had to offer.

The Room

And let's not forget about my jaw-dropping room—it was a thing of pure magnificence.

I opted for the deluxe king room and was in for a treat. The bed felt like I was sleeping on a cloud, and the room itself was spacious and adorned with elegant decor.

I couldn't help but adore all the thoughtful gestures, like the complimentary water and snacks that greeted me upon arrival.

It's those little things that make a world of difference, you know?

Amenities & Service

The on-site restaurant was something that I was truly interested in because I knew that I was about to leave for China so I wanted to have a few last moment experiences with my beloved western cuisine.

I liked that there were QR codes posted on the tables to grant access to an online version of the menu so food orders could be placed. It reminded me a lot of the kind of environment I was returning to in China.

I can't even begin to explain the explosion of flavors that this macaroni and cheese had! I mean, seriously...I got a little emotional from how satisfying this was.

And then for breakfast, I went to the indoor cafe, Coffee Bean, and ordered the special of the week along with a few Krispy Kreme donuts.

Sis, I wasn't thinking about counting NOT ONE CALORIE, you hear me???

Regarding the service and hosts - they were lightning-fast in addressing my requests and were willing to cater to any requests I made. I genuinely felt like they were committed to making my experience as delightful as humanly possible—which has been a rarity during these COVID times in the hospitality industry.

Staying During COVID-19

When I say that that Hilton H Hotel LAX was serious about safety and sanity at the hotel during this pandemic, this is what I mean...

Needless to say, the closed-off seating areas, mandated masks, countless sanitation stations and signs to keep distance were all methods of communication to let me know that this hotel meant business about keeping guests and employees safe.

And it was a message well-received.

Overall Thoughts

All in all, my stay at the Hilton H Hotel LAX was filled with peace and comfort as I was able to handle things for COVID and not have to worry about the additional stress of a hotel room or being in the perfect location.

I could not have asked for anything more from the Hilton H Hotel LAX. The room is spacious and tastefully adorned; the location was is with a free shuttle to and from the hotel; and the service is simply unparalleled.
